Alhamdullilah, Nuha turns 3 last week on May 6. Wow, you’re growing up so quickly my dear. You’re already 3 years old! It just seems like yesterday you were 3 days old. Happy 3rd birthday!

Nuha's 1st Birthday Party

It just a small celebration among close families & friends. Hajat di hati nak jemput ramai to this party, but budget kami kecil-kecilan saja. Maaf tak dapat undang more families & kawan-kawan. Insyallah, ada rezeki nanti, pasti kami jemput. Lebih ramai & lebih meriah :)

So, this is what we settle with... a homely party. Of course Nuha's brain still not keep this memory, but she will tersengih sorang-sorang bila tengok gambar ni dah besar nanti. Photos are from my old camera anyway (horrible, I know! Sooner or later I will hunt the new one). Sedikit kechiwa sebab tak banyak captured gambar Nuha on that day ;(

Nama pun party budget kan, so from foodies to decoration, kami pakat buat sendiri, homemade & handmade. I do enjoy doing the preparation but berpeluh la jugak nak siapkan everythings in few hours, rasa macam masuk pertandingan Masterchef ;p

Ok, here's the menu : (Homemade) Birthday cake - Carrot hazelnut cheese cake, Chip chocolate cupcakes, Baked macaroni, Custard fruits jelly pudding, Cucur udang. Sate, order, belum tau nak bikin. hehehe. Halal marshmellow & biscuit.

I'm not a big fan of marshmellow (sebab rasanya peliks for me), but this marshmellow adalah sangat sedap! Remember that biscuit? Yup. I called it biskot jambul. It's my all time favourite since I was a kid. I bet you too :)

Cuma 1 je yang buat saya risau, mood Nuha. And... my instinct never go wrong. Nuha was cranky & nak berkepit dengan mak dia saja all the time. I will defitinely tell her how cengeng she was on that day. hehehe ;p

Nota kaki : Oh, Nuha belum boleh berjalan. Dia kata tak ready lagi. Boley? hehehe ;)

Nuha is 1 year old

Nuha turned one last sunday. Alhamdullilah. I'm still remembered a day of her arrival. It was a smooth-sailing & quick delivery. Thank you Allah, it such a blessing to see my little baby grown up for the past 12months, eventhough Nuha ni tersangat la banyak kerenahnya...mak redha with this challenge. After all, it was a bittersweet moment & part of my motherhood journey. hehehe

Actually we had a day trip to Singapore on her 1st birthday (will blog about this later). So we haven't celebrate her birthday yet. Nuha, Ayah & Mama owed you a cake cutting (or smashing!) ngeheheee. Insyallah, it will be a small birthday party for her but the date is to be confirm later.

Happy 1st Birthday Nuha. Ayah & Mama will always love you! (sampai kamu besar, masuk sekolah, universiti, kerja, kahwin & ada anak...eh, tetibe je...hahaha) Muah muah muah.

Still Breathing

Assalamualaikum. Dear readers, I’m still breathing & alive. Hehehe

Dah stop blogging ke?

Alahai.. I know. It has been more than 2months since my last post. Sorry for un-updated blog. So many stories I want to share here. Macam-macam cerita. Hehehe. Ok. Kita start cerita pasal Nuha dululah. My baby girl grows up so fast. I miss her newborn days. I miss her lovely baby smell. Sekarang dia sudah buchuk masam. Hahaha ;p

Next week Nuha gonna reach 6months & Mama will turn 28..ehem ehem ;p Alhamdullilah. Dah besar anak mama. Jom recap milestone Nuha from newborn until 4months :D

1st month – Banyak tido je. Ada masa dia meragam jugak, biasanya waktu malam lah. Most probably bcoz of colic. Dalam seminggu mesti ada sehari dia cranky & moody.

2months – Reti senyum. Dah start cembeng macam mama. Hahaha ;p
Kalau menangis, walla! Champion tuh. Terus high not. Duduk dalam car seat nangis, dalam stroller pun nangis. Dah start bawak Nuha gi jalan-jalan. Dia tak suka. Melalak je. Sampai orang perli lah. Huhuhu. Sabo jelah.

3 months – Dah reti gelak. Dah ok skit gi jalan2 sebab mata dia dok melilau tengok sana sini. Suka tengok TV. Favourite Nuha, channel BabyTV. Dah cam orang. Obviously mak bapak dia memang dia cam sgt-sgt lah. Suka berborak. Dia nak orang sembang-sembang dengan dia. Menjeling. Dah reti mengekor gerakan orang dengan mata. Nak orang ada depan mata dia. Nuha ni tau je kalau kite tinggal kan dia sorang-sorang walaupun sekejap. Even dia tengah tido pun, dia tau kalau mama takde kat sebelah dia. And this is the problem bila mama nak buat kerjalah.

4 months – Dah reti capai benda, tarik rambut, baju tudung mama. Ish ish ish. Cakar muka mama. Adoi. Suka main-main jari dia & dah jadi habit hisap jari. She really interested with food. Air liur kemain banyak meleleh. Tengok orang makan, dia terliur sama. Nuha ni tak mesra alam. Not so friendly baby. Dia nak dengan orang yang dia biasa tengok hari-hari. Kalau orang lain dukung, mula la dia cembeng. Suka angkat kaki & mengiringkan badan time bergolek. Aksi acrobatic Aunty Cha kata. Mulut riuh. Suka bersembang. Pot pet pot pet. Hehehe. Still tak suka duduk dalam stroller. She really hates stroller. So everytime keluar, I have to carry her. Lenguh beb. She loves to roll. Dah pandai meniarap.

Gain weight vs Loose weight

Sorry lama tak update blog. Macam-macam nak gebang nih, slowly lah ye. Pelan-pelan kayuh. Heee. Bila dah ada anak, automatik otak pun ligat fikir pasal anak. And maybe entry blog also will change a bit. Kene include about parenthood, mommyhood & baby jugak kan. Betul tak mommies? Hehehe ;p

Back to our topic, right now my concern is all about WEIGHT!

My current status :

Fathiyah : Berat haku toksah la tanya. Sama berat dengan mak gajah. Uwaaaa! I’m still struggle nak loose excessive weight. Aih, kan bagus kalau den boleh transfer semua lemak nih kat Nuha. Sonang hati den. Hehehe ;p Off this topic. Kita gebang in next entry ya.

Nuha : After Nuha first month check up last 2weeks, I need to make sure my baby gain a LOT of weight. Dipendekkan cerita, berat Nuha masa lahir = 2.45kg, then drop to 2.13kg due to dehydration. Nuha demam & hilang banyak air on day 4. Kene tahan wad NICU semalam kat Hospital Putrajaya. Mamanya semalaman lah menangis. Huhu. Sedih giler meroyan bila terpisah with my baby. Now I know that feeling ;( The problem comes disebabkan cuaca terlalu panas bulan lepas kan. Orang dewasa macam kita pun tak tahan, ni pulak baby. After all, syukur Nuha recover cepat & got no health problem.

From previous check up, berat dia 2.8kg. I’m fully breastfeed Nuha. She bf dalam 1-2hours. Pelekapan dah betul. She can suck very well. Bf period : 15mins to 30mins. Lepas bf biasanya dia akan terlena & give a sign that she’s already full. Next month, berat dia must reach 4kg (ikut teori & graf). Boleh ke Nuha reach her goal? Kita tunggu & lihat next month. Nuha ni memanjang, bila nak melebar pulak sayang? ;) Hehe.

I should stop worried. My mum said, every babies is different, yang penting your baby is health. Betul kan?

Anyway, kalau siapa ada petua untuk memontelkan baby, share with me ya. Jangan petua memontelkan mama pulak. No no no. Please lemak, go away ;p

Nuha's Birth Story

5May2011
Appointment pregnancy checkup kat Klinik Kesihatan & Hospital An-Nur as usual. Doc Klinik Kesihatan cakap my baby dah engaged, tapi Dr.Khamsiah An-Nur cakap baby belum engaged. Tengahari, singgah my parent house & pekena Laksa. Petang, singgah my PIL house & tibai Mee sup pulak. Hehehe ;p

6May2011
1am-5am : Sejam sekali terjaga. Asyik ulang ke toilet je. At first, I tot normal la. Sebab memang masa pregnant asyik terjaga malam & ke toilet. Tapi, takla sekerap ni. Ada jugak rasa pelik. Tapi takde rasa sakit. So, saya pun ulang tido macam biasa.

5am-5.30am : Start rasa sakit. Macam period pain. Masa ni saya dah kejutkan Syah. I started to time the contraction. Every 10minutes it will come & attack. Hehe.

5.30am : Sah contraction nak bersalin ni. So, kami called family & inform pasal ni. Mak suruh gi hospital. Saya cakap dengan Syah nak gi hospital lepas Subuh, nak solat & mandi dulu. I decided to have a quick breakfast. Unfortunately, kat rumah dah habis stock roti. Teringat pisang abu yang saya amik kat rumah mak semalam. Ape lagi, sambil apply breathing technique, sambil tuh bancuh tepung & goreng pisang. Bila sakit, hembus nafas 3kali. Lepas tu, continue menggoreng pisang. Hahaha :p

6am : Mandi, then solat. Solat pun sambil duduk sebab dah rasa sakit sangat. Breakfast pisang goreng & air zam zam. Hehe. Keluar tanda which is a spot of blood masa saya kencing. I was like, ni dah betul-betul nak beranak nih. I felt nervous & excited at the same time. Oh, masanya sudah tiba akhirnya ;)

6.30am : Sempat kemas & grab an important things to bring to hospital.

6.45am : Register kat kuanter Wad Bersalin.

7am : Waiting at Pre-Labour room. Nurse checked my blood pressure & pasang CTG on my tummy. Contraction became stronger. Loose track kekerapan contraction. Sepanjang dalam bilik ni, husband tunggu kat luar. So, I make myself calm dengan baca Doa Nabi Yunus, Ayat Kursi & Zikir. Masa ni terfikir, kalau bukaan baru 1cm or 2cm, sempatla den nak gi Hospital An-Nur. Hehehe.

7.30am : Dr check bukaan. Dah 5cm to 6cm. I was really shocked at that time. Macam tak percaya je. Sakit makin lama makin kuat. Sorang Dr treat & standby next to me. Akar Siti Fatimah (air selusuh) tak sempat nak rendam pun. Kena tunggu labour room dibersihkan. Nasib baik ada bilik kosong. Syukur.

8am : Waktu ni sakit berganda-ganda. Terasa tekanan kat bahagian bawah. Masuk labour room. Kelam kabut tukar baju.

8.15am : Dr check bukaan sekali lagi & it was already 10cm. Fully dilated! Waduh, pantas sungguh. Memang terasa nak teran sangat-sangat dah. Tapi Dr suruh tahan. Everytime rasa sakit, saya genggam tangan Dr. Hehehe. Dr cakap, tak sempat nak offer Epidural dah haku nak terberanak ;p

8.30am : Dr pecahkan air ketuban. Instantly terus rasa nak meneran. Ada 2orang Dr assist saya masa tu. Doctor instruction at that time was so helpful to me. Yelah, dalam waktu macam ni, memang perlu ada orang yang ingatkan kita apa nak buat. Tarik nafas, then hold your breath. Time bila nak push and so on. Syah kat luar tengah isi borang.

8.37am : 2kali push, lahirlah Nuha. Tak sempat nak episotomi. Nasib baik terkoyak cantik. Hahaha. Nurse jerit panggil Syah masuk, Encik...isteri encik dah nak bersalin dah. Cepat! Cepat! Syah masuk je, saya dah selamat lahirkan Nuha, Dr pegang Nuha & gunting tali pusat. Everybody in the labour room say congratulation to us. Keluar dari perut, Nuha terus menangis & terkencing. Meleleh la air mata cheq sebab terharu. Tak sangka dah selamat bersalin. Lagi terharu bila husband cium & say thanks for everythings. Sebak tau. Dr bagi saya dakap baby. Saat paling indah ;) Lepas semuanya settle, Syah azan, iqamat & tahnik Nuha.

Tu lah cerita pengalaman bersalin saya. Express from A-Z. Alhamdullilah, Allah permudahkan urusan saya melahirkan Nuha. Ralat sikit sebab tak sempat nak bergambar bagai pasal kelam kabut. Hahaha ;p Kalau boleh rewind masa, saya nak je record setiap saat tuh. Tak sangka juga saya boleh tahan sakit bersalin. Thanks to all Doctors & nurses Hospital Putrajaya. Jasamu dikenang.

I now feel complete :)

pada 6 May 2010, 8.37am, pagi Jumaat yang penuh rahmat & barakah,
saya telah selamat melahirkan my little princess di Hospital Putrajaya via natural & normal delivery. Episotomi pun tak sempat, saya terberanak express. Hehe :p
Syukur, both of us are doing fine now. Oh, Berat baby = 2.45kg. So petite kan. Comel macam mama dia. Heee :p


And her name, Nuha Binti Syahrul Nizam. Nuha means Intelligent. Reference : Surah Thoha, ayat 54 & 128.

Ok, till then. Next entry cheq cerita pasal kisah bersalin. Hehehe. I enjoy my confinement period. Syok gile dapat dok rumah. Haha ;D
